Neurotec is a herbal pharmaceutical product composed of extracts from *Rosa canina* (rosehip), *Tanacetum parthenium* (feverfew), and *Urtica dioica* (stinging nettle). Developed by researchers at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, it is primarily indicated for the management of chronic inflammatory and pain conditions, including fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. The drug exerts its therapeutic effects through a synergistic combination of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant mechanisms. Specifically, parthenolide from feverfew inhibits the NF-κB signaling pathway, thereby reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, while extracts from nettle and rosehip contribute to the inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) and lipoxygenase (LOX) enzymes. Clinical trials have demonstrated its efficacy in reducing pain scores and improving functional outcomes in patients with fibromyalgic disorder.
