Nifedipine + valsartan

Nifedipine + valsartan is a fixed-dose combination of two antihypertensive agents used for the management of high blood pressure (essential hypertension). Nifedipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that works by inhibiting voltage-gated L-type calcium channels in vascular smooth muscle and myocardial cells, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral resistance.
