Overview

A combination therapy consisting of niraparib, an FDA-approved PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitor, and brivanib, an anti-angiogenic agent that targets FGFR1 (fibroblast growth factor receptor 1). This combination has shown synergistic antitumor effects, particularly in ovarian cancer cells with BRCA mutations, by enhancing programmed cell death mechanisms including apoptosis and necroptosis. The combination is being investigated for the treatment of various cancers including ovarian cancer and cervical cancer.
