NM-IL-12 + CCRT is a preclinical combination therapy being developed by Libo Pharma, consisting of the recombinant human interleukin-12 (rHuIL-12) biologic NM-IL-12 (edodekin alfa) administered in conjunction with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT). NM-IL-12, originally developed by Neumedicines as HemaMax, is a potent immunomodulator that binds to the IL-12 receptor on natural killer (NK) cells and T-cells, promoting their activation, proliferation, and production of interferon-gamma. The combination is intended to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of standard chemoradiation in oncology and hematology indications, such as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), by leveraging IL-12's ability to stimulate a Th1-type immune response and exert anti-angiogenic effects within the tumor microenvironment.
