Overview
Nonivamide + nicoboxil is a fixed-dose topical rubefacient analgesic marketed as **Finalgon** in certain countries. Nonivamide is a synthetic capsaicinoid that activates transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1 on cutaneous nociceptive sensory neurons, producing local warmth, neurogenic vasodilation, and subsequent analgesic desensitization. Nicoboxil is a nicotinic-acid ester with prostaglandin-mediated vasodilatory activity that accelerates and intensifies local hyperemia.
