Overview

NX-1607 + paclitaxel is an investigational combination therapy consisting of NX-1607, an oral small molecule inhibitor of Casitas B-lineage lymphoma proto-oncogene-b (Cbl-b), and paclitaxel, a cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agent. NX-1607 is designed to enhance T cell and NK cell anti-tumor activity by inhibiting Cbl-b, a key intracellular checkpoint that negatively regulates immune activation. Paclitaxel acts as a mitotic inhibitor by stabilizing microtubules and blocking cell division, leading to apoptosis of cancer cells. The combination is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical studies for various advanced malignancies, including but not limited to platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian cancer, gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, urothelial cancer, and cervical cancer[1][3][5][9].
