Drug intelligence / Profile preview
O&D-001 is a dual-targeting chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by O&D BioTech Group CO., Limited for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The therapy is engineered to simultaneously target two antigens highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells: B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D). By utilizing a dual-targeting approach, O&D-001 aims to enhance the depth of clinical response and reduce the likelihood of disease relapse associated with antigen escape or heterogeneous antigen expression. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in adult patients.
