O6-cyclohexylmethoxy-2-(4'-sulphamoylanilino) purine (commonly known as NU6102 or 4SP) is a synthetic small molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2). It belongs to the hypoxanthine class of organic compounds and is structurally related to purines. The compound was developed as a selective CDK2 inhibitor, with an IC50 in the low nanomolar range, and has been used experimentally to study cell cycle regulation and cancer biology. Cellular studies have demonstrated that it inhibits CDK2 activity, leading to reduced phosphorylation of target proteins and inhibition of cancer cell growth in vitro. It has not been approved for clinical use but serves as a valuable tool compound in research on cell cycle kinases[1][5][10].
