Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of three agents: **OBT076**, a CD205-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC); **balstilimab**, a fully human monoclonal antibody and programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor; and **gemcitabine**, a nucleoside analog and classic chemotherapy agent. OBT076 delivers a cytotoxic payload to CD205-expressing cancer cells and promotes immunogenic cell death, potentially priming the tumor microenvironment; balstilimab blocks the PD-1 immune checkpoint, enhancing the ability of T-cells to recognize and attack tumor cells; gemcitabine disrupts DNA synthesis and induces apoptosis in proliferating tumor cells. This investigational regimen is being explored primarily in advanced solid tumors, including refractory or metastatic cancers, to assess synergistic immunotherapeutic and cytotoxic effects[1][3][7].
