Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination investigational immunotherapy consisting of **odetiglucan**, a beta-glucan immune modulator, and **CDX-1140**, a fully human monoclonal antibody that acts as a CD40 agonist. This combination is designed to activate both innate and adaptive immune responses against cancer. **CDX-1140** directly stimulates the CD40 receptor on antigen-presenting cells (especially dendritic cells and B cells), thereby enhancing tumor antigen presentation, promoting activation of tumoricidal macrophages, and stimulating T cell-mediated antitumor immunity. Odetiglucan (formerly Imprime PGG) is a soluble yeast-derived beta-glucan which binds to pattern recognition receptors (such as Dectin-1) to activate neutrophils and monocytes, augmenting innate immunity. The combination aims for synergistic immunomodulation by simultaneously activating multiple arms of the immune system, and has entered Phase 1 clinical testing in advanced solid tumors[4].
