Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OH2 + BS006 (also known as the BS008 Cocktail) is an investigational combination oncolytic virus therapy developed by Binhui Biopharmaceutical. The combination consists of two distinct oncolytic herpes simplex virus type 2 (oHSV2) vectors: OH2 (also known as BS001), which expresses human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (hGM-CSF) to enhance systemic anti-tumor immunity, and BS006, which expresses a bispecific engager targeting CD3 and PD-L1 (oHSV2CD3-PD-L1). This dual-virus approach aims to selectively replicate within and lyse tumor cells while simultaneously modulating the tumor microenvironment through cytokine expression and the recruitment and activation of T-cells via the bispecific engager. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1b/2 clinical trials for various advanced solid tumors, including malignant melanoma, head and neck cancer, and gastrointestinal malignancies, administered via sequential intratumoral injection.
