Overview

DWJ1621 (OlloMax) is a fixed-dose triple combination therapy developed by Daewoong Pharmaceutical for the simultaneous management of hypertension and dyslipidemia. The formulation combines three established small molecule agents: olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (ARB); amlodipine besylate, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (CCB); and rosuvastatin calcium, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin). By integrating these three mechanisms of action into a single oral solid dosage form, DWJ1621 aims to simplify complex treatment regimens, thereby improving patient adherence and providing comprehensive cardiovascular risk reduction. It was approved by the South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in 2019.
