Overview

Olopatadine + mometasone is a fixed-dose combination nasal spray used for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and rhinoconjunctivitis in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. It contains two active ingredients: - Olopatadine, an antihistamine that blocks histamine H1 receptors to prevent symptoms such as itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. - Mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by inhibiting the release of substances involved in allergic reactions. The combination provides rapid relief (onset within 15 minutes) of both nasal and ocular allergy symptoms. It is administered as a metered-dose aqueous suspension via intranasal spray[1][2][3][7].
