Overview

A combination of medications used in anesthesia practice, particularly during spinal anesthesia. Ondansetron is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that helps prevent nausea, vomiting, and hypotension. Atropine is an anticholinergic agent that prevents bradycardia by blocking cholinergic receptors. Bupivacaine is a local anesthetic used for regional anesthesia. When used together, these medications have complementary effects in preventing and treating complications associated with spinal anesthesia, including hypotension, bradycardia, and asystole.
