Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ONVAX-01 + anti-PD-1 + chemotherapy is a combination immunotherapy regimen being investigated for the treatment of advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The regimen consists of **ONVAX-01**, a peptide-based nanovaccine designed to stimulate a tumor-specific T-cell response; an **anti-PD-1 antibody**, which blocks the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) checkpoint to enhance T-cell activity; and **standard chemotherapy**, which serves to both directly kill tumor cells and potentially prime the tumor microenvironment for immunotherapy. This triple combination aims to overcome the immunosuppressive nature of pancreatic cancer by combining active immunization, checkpoint blockade, and cytotoxic therapy.
