Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Oshadi D + Oshadi R is a combination of two investigational anti-cancer agents developed by Oshadi Drug Administration Ltd. Oshadi D consists of DNase (deoxyribonuclease) formulated in a proprietary carrier, while Oshadi R consists of RNase (ribonuclease) in the same carrier. The combination is designed to degrade extracellular DNA and RNA within the tumor microenvironment, thereby disrupting cancer cell survival mechanisms and potentially enhancing the efficacy of chemotherapy. Preclinical and early clinical studies have shown that this combination has anti-tumor activity with a favorable safety profile when used alongside standard chemotherapies such as docetaxel or salvage regimens. The drugs are administered orally and have been evaluated for use in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), malignant mesothelioma, and basal cell carcinoma[2][3][4].
