Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Osimertinib + telisotuzumab vedotin is a combination therapy for advanced EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with c-Met protein overexpression, particularly after progression on prior osimertinib treatment. Telisotuzumab vedotin (Teliso-V) is an antibody-drug conjugate composed of the anti-c-Met antibody ABT-700 linked to monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), a microtubule inhibitor. Following binding to c-Met-expressing cells, Teliso-V undergoes internalization and intracellular cleavage of MMAE, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptotic cell death. Osimertinib is an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that is the standard first-line treatment for advanced EGFR-mutated NSCLC. The combination has shown promising activity with a manageable safety profile in patients who have progressed on prior osimertinib treatment.
