Overview
A combination therapy consisting of oral oxatomide (an antihistamine) and topical sodium cromoglycate solution (a mast cell stabilizer). This combination is used primarily for treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in children. Clinical studies have shown that this combination significantly improves atopic dermatitis symptoms and decreases spontaneous IgE production from peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
