PA-MSHA + capecitabine is a combination therapy consisting of Pseudomonas aeruginosa-mannose-sensitive hemagglutinin (PA-MSHA) and capecitabine. PA-MSHA is a genetically modified and inactivated form of Pseudomonas aeruginosa with mannose-sensitive hemagglutinin that has immunomodulatory and antitumor properties. It functions by triggering the TLR5/NF-κB signaling pathway in antigen-presenting cells, promoting M1 macrophage polarization, enhancing T cell activation, and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. Capecitabine is an oral fluoropyrimidine antineoplastic agent that is converted to 5-fluorouracil in tumor tissues.
