Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Combination of paclitaxel (a chemotherapy agent) and pelareorep (an oncolytic reovirus). Pelareorep is a type 3 reovirus that invades and lyses tumor cells and promotes an inflammatory tumor microenvironment. When combined with paclitaxel, it has shown significant improvements in overall survival, progression-free survival, and response rates in HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer patients compared to paclitaxel alone.
