Paclitaxel and carboplatin with bevacizumab is a widely studied, approved regimen in several cancers; vinorelbine can be substituted or added for refractory or pretreated cases. Mechanisms are additive/synergistic: cytotoxic action (paclitaxel, vinorelbine, carboplatin) plus inhibition of new vessel formation/growth (bevacizumab).
