The drug utilizes a proprietary, noncovalent human serum albumin (HSA) nanoparticle platform to encapsulate paclitaxel, facilitating its preferential accumulation in tumor tissues through albumin-mediated transport mechanisms. By employing this nanoparticle delivery system, the formulation aims to improve the therapeutic index of paclitaxel and reduce systemic toxicity by eliminating the requirement for toxic organic solvents, such as Cremophor EL, which are typically used to solubilize the drug and are associated with severe hypersensitivity reactions.
