**Paclitaxel protein-bound (Abraxane)** is a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel. It works by stabilizing microtubules and inhibiting their disassembly, thereby preventing cell division and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. Vandetanib inhibits tumor proliferation and angiogenesis by blocking these pathways[1][3][5][6][8]. It is approved for the treatment of symptomatic or progressive medullary thyroid cancer that cannot be removed surgically or has metastasized[1].
