Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of palazestrant (OP-1250), a novel oral complete estrogen receptor (ER) antagonist, and everolimus, an mTOR inhibitor. This combination is being investigated for the treatment of advanced and/or metastatic ER-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. The combination aims to simultaneously target the estrogen receptor pathway and the mTOR signaling pathway to potentially overcome resistance mechanisms in ER-positive breast cancer.
