Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pediatric Aminophen-Chlorphenamine Granules is a combination medication developed by Anke Bio for the symptomatic relief of the common cold and influenza in children. The product contains three active ingredients: paracetamol (acetaminophen), which provides analgesic and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes to reduce prostaglandin synthesis; chlorphenamine maleate, a first-generation antihistamine that antagonizes histamine H1 receptors to relieve symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes; and artificial cow bezoar, which is included for its traditional antipyretic and sedative properties. This formulation is specifically designed as oral granules for pediatric use and is indicated for treating fever, headache, sore throat, and nasal congestion associated with viral upper respiratory infections.
