Parecoxib + celecoxib is a sequential analgesic regimen consisting of intravenous parecoxib followed by oral celecoxib. This combination therapy utilizes two selective COX-2 inhibitors for postoperative pain management. Parecoxib is a water-soluble injectable prodrug of valdecoxib that can be used perioperatively when patients are unable to take oral medications. Celecoxib is an oral COX-2 selective inhibitor that provides continued pain relief after the initial parecoxib administration.
