Overview

Pasteurella Vaccine (Middle East for Vaccines) is an inactivated veterinary vaccine developed by Middle East for Vaccines (MEVAC) for the prevention of pasteurellosis in ruminants, including cattle, sheep, and goats. The vaccine is designed to induce a protective immune response against *Pasteurella* species, primarily *Pasteurella multocida* and *Mannheimia haemolytica*, which are the causative agents of significant respiratory and systemic diseases such as hemorrhagic septicemia and pneumonic pasteurellosis (shipping fever). By delivering inactivated bacterial antigens, the vaccine stimulates the animal's immune system to produce specific antibodies, thereby providing active immunity and reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with these infections in livestock populations.
