Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Patritumab deruxtecan + trastuzumab** is a combination regimen consisting of two anticancer monoclonal antibodies. Patritumab deruxtecan is a HER3-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) comprising a fully human anti-HER3 IgG1 monoclonal antibody linked to a cytotoxic payload via a cleavable linker, designed to target and deliver chemotherapy specifically to cells expressing HER3, a member of the EGFR family implicated in tumorigenesis[8][10]. Trastuzumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets HER2, overexpressed in certain cancers, and functions by blocking HER2-mediated signaling and inducing antibody-dependent cytotoxicity[6][9]. This regimen, administered intravenously, is under clinical investigation for advanced breast cancer, especially in settings where HER3 and/or HER2 expression are relevant[4].
