Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vicero Bio's PD-1-VEGF bispecific antibody is an investigational oncology therapeutic developed using the proprietary VINCOBODY platform. This bispecific agent is designed to simultaneously target the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) immune checkpoint and the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). By inhibiting PD-1, the antibody aims to restore the anti-tumor activity of exhausted T-cells. Simultaneously, by neutralizing VEGF, it targets tumor angiogenesis and modulates the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. This dual-action approach is intended to enhance therapeutic efficacy over single-target agents. The program is currently in the preclinical to early development stage.
