Overview
PDC*lung01 is an innovative off-the-shelf therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by PDC*line Pharma for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is based on an irradiated allogeneic plasmacytoid dendritic cell line loaded with HLA-A*02:01-restricted tumor-associated antigen peptides (including NY-ESO-1, Melan-A/MART-1, MAGE-A3, and Survivin). The vaccine is designed to stimulate and expand tumor antigen-specific CD8+ T-cells in patients. In clinical trials, particularly when combined with pembrolizumab (an anti-PD-1 antibody), it has demonstrated a significant increase in objective response rate and progression-free survival compared to pembrolizumab alone in stage IV NSCLC patients with high PD-L1 expression. The safety profile has been mild, with most adverse events being grade 1–2 injection-related reactions[5][6][9].
