Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PDS01ADC + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy being developed by **PDS Biotech** for the treatment of prostate cancer, including both **castration-sensitive (CSPC)** and **castration-resistant (CRPC)** forms. **PDS01ADC** (also known as **M9241** or **NHS-IL12**) is an immunocytokine (categorized as an antibody-drug conjugate in the company's pipeline) composed of a human IgG1 antibody (NHS76) that binds to DNA/histone complexes released in necrotic tumor cores, fused to two molecules of human **interleukin-12 (IL-12)**. This targeting mechanism allows for the localized delivery of IL-12, which stimulates T-cell and natural killer (NK) cell infiltration and activation within the tumor microenvironment. **Docetaxel** is a taxane-based chemotherapy agent that binds to and stabilizes microtubules, preventing their depolymerization and leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. The combination aims to leverage the cytotoxic effects of docetaxel alongside the localized immune modulation provided by PDS01ADC to enhance anti-tumor efficacy. It is currently being evaluated in **Phase 2** clinical trials.
