A combination formulation of **pegylated recombinant human endostatin** (commonly known as PEG-Endostar or M2ES)—a PEGylated, recombinant form of the endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor endostatin—and **docetaxel**, a microtubule-stabilizing chemotherapy agent. PEGylation increases endostatin's circulating half-life and stability, enhancing antiangiogenic activity by inhibiting endothelial cell proliferation and tumor angiogenesis[1][2][3]. Docetaxel exerts cytotoxic effects through inhibition of cell division in proliferating tumor cells. The combination is being studied for enhanced anti-tumor effects in solid tumors due to complementary mechanisms: endostatin inhibits tumor blood vessel formation, while docetaxel directly kills dividing tumor cells.
