Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This investigational treatment regimen is being evaluated in a Phase 2 clinical trial (NCT05266846) at the Hunan Province Tumor Hospital for the treatment of metastatic ALK fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in patients who have progressed after first-line alectinib therapy. The regimen consists of the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody pembrolizumab, the anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody bevacizumab, and a chemotherapy backbone of pemetrexed and carboplatin. By combining immunotherapy, anti-angiogenic therapy, and cytotoxic chemotherapy, the regimen aims to overcome resistance to ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and improve outcomes in advanced lung adenocarcinoma with persistent 5'ALK.
