Overview

**Pembrolizumab + COPDAC-28** is a combination therapy used primarily in pediatric and young adult patients with high-risk classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) who are slow early responders (SER) to frontline induction chemotherapy. Pembrolizumab is a monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting the programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor, enhancing anti-tumor immunity by blocking inhibitory signaling in T cells. COPDAC-28 is a 28-day cycle chemotherapy regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), vincristine (a microtubule inhibitor), prednisone (a corticosteroid), and dacarbazine (an alkylating agent). This combination is being studied for its ability to improve rapid and sustained responses while reducing long-term treatment toxicity, especially in a population at high risk for relapse after frontline therapy[1][2][4][7][9].
