A combination therapy consisting of **pembrolizumab** (Keytruda) and the **ONY-P1** vaccine (Onyvax-P) for the treatment of prostate cancer. Pembrolizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the **programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)** receptor, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 to enhance the body's immune response against tumor cells. ONY-P1 is an allogeneic cell-based vaccine composed of three irradiated prostate cancer cell lines (LNCaP, PC-3, and DU-145) designed to induce a broad immune response against prostate-specific antigens. The combination aims to leverage the immune-priming effects of the vaccine with the checkpoint inhibition of pembrolizumab to overcome the immunosuppressive microenvironment of prostate cancer. Clinical evaluation of ONY-P1 has included Phase 2 trials in patients with stage D0 prostate cancer following androgen ablation.
