pemetrexed + tislelizumab

Pemetrexed + tislelizumab is a combination therapy consisting of pemetrexed, an antifolate antineoplastic agent that inhibits multiple folate-dependent enzymes involved in the synthesis of DNA and RNA, and tislelizumab, a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor. Tislelizumab blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1/PD-L2), thereby enhancing T-cell–mediated immune responses against tumor cells. This combination is primarily investigated for use in non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), often alongside platinum-based chemotherapy agents such as carboplatin. The regimen has demonstrated improved progression-free survival and objective response rates compared to chemotherapy alone in clinical trials for advanced or metastatic NSCLC[1][2][6].
