penpulimab + cetuximab

Penpulimab + cetuximab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two monoclonal antibodies with distinct mechanisms of action. Penpulimab is a humanized IgG1 anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between programmed death-1 (PD-1) and its ligands PD-L1/PD-L2, thereby enhancing T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. Cetuximab is a chimeric (mouse/human) IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), inhibiting ligand binding and downstream signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation and survival. This combination is being studied for synergistic antitumor effects in recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (R/M SCCHN), leveraging both immune checkpoint inhibition and direct blockade of EGFR-driven tumor growth[6][7][8].
