This is a pharmaceutical combination used experimentally for **sonothrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke**. It consists of **perflutren lipid microspheres**, which are ultrasound contrast agents comprised of gas-filled lipid microspheres, and **tissue plasminogen activator (tPA)**, a recombinant enzyme used for thrombolysis.
