This personalized autologous dendritic cell vaccine is an investigational cell-based immunotherapy developed by Capital Medical University for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, specifically in patients with a high tumor mutation burden (TMB). The vaccine is produced by isolating a patient's own dendritic cells and pulsing them in vitro with autologous whole tumor cell lysate. This approach enables the dendritic cells to present a comprehensive profile of the patient's specific tumor-associated antigens and neoantigens. Upon intranodal administration, these activated dendritic cells migrate to lymph nodes to prime and expand tumor-specific T-cell populations. In clinical settings, the vaccine is administered in a prime-boost regimen and is combined with low-dose oral cyclophosphamide to modulate the tumor microenvironment and enhance the anti-tumor immune response.
