The personalized neoantigen peptides vaccine is a therapeutic cancer immunotherapy developed by Tianjin HengJia Biotechnology Development in collaboration with Tianjin Beichen Hospital. This peptide-based vaccine is designed to stimulate a patient's immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells by targeting patient-specific neoantigens—mutated protein fragments unique to an individual's tumor that are presented by HLA molecules on tumor cell surfaces. The manufacturing process involves genomic sequencing (DNA/RNA) of the patient's tumor to identify somatic mutations, followed by bioinformatic selection of neoepitopes with high predicted binding affinity to the patient's specific HLA molecules. These synthetic peptides are typically administered via subcutaneous injection, often in conjunction with an adjuvant such as topical imiquimod, to prime and activate both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Clinical evaluation has primarily focused on advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic cancer, where it has demonstrated a favorable safety profile and promising immunogenicity.
