This combination therapy consists of a personalized peptide vaccine administered in conjunction with a Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor. The personalized vaccine is a neoantigen-based immunotherapy tailored to the individual patient's tumor profile, designed to stimulate a specific T-cell response against tumor-associated antigens. The PD-1 inhibitor is a checkpoint inhibitor that blocks the interaction between PD-1 on T-cells and its ligands (PD-L1/PD-L2) on tumor cells, thereby preventing immune evasion and enhancing the anti-tumor activity of the vaccine-primed T-cells. This synergistic approach is being evaluated for its safety and efficacy in patients with late-stage pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma who have failed standard treatments.
