This personalized tumor neoantigen peptide vaccine is an investigational immunotherapy developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors. The therapeutic approach involves identifying patient-specific somatic mutations (neoantigens) through genomic sequencing of the patient's tumor tissue. These unique neoantigens are then synthesized as peptides or used to pulse autologous dendritic cells (DCs) to create a tailored vaccine. By presenting these tumor-specific antigens to the patient's immune system, the vaccine aims to induce a robust and specific cytotoxic T-lymphocyte response against the tumor cells, potentially reducing tumor burden and prolonging survival in patients with advanced disease.
