Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Pertuzumab + trastuzumab + hyaluronidase-zzxf** is a fixed-dose subcutaneous biologic combination marketed as **Phesgo**. It contains the anti-HER2 humanized monoclonal antibodies pertuzumab and trastuzumab plus recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20, hyaluronidase-zzxf. Pertuzumab and trastuzumab bind distinct extracellular epitopes of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2, jointly inhibiting HER2 signaling and promoting immune-mediated elimination of HER2-overexpressing tumor cells; hyaluronidase transiently depolymerizes subcutaneous hyaluronan to facilitate dispersion and absorption of the antibodies. In the United States, it is approved with chemotherapy for specified HER2-positive early breast cancer settings and with docetaxel for first-line HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer.
