Pertuzumab + trastuzumab + paclitaxel is a combination regimen used primarily for the treatment of HER2-positive metastatic or locally recurrent unresectable breast cancer. Pertuzumab and trastuzumab are monoclonal antibodies that target different domains of the Receptor tyrosine-protein kinase erbB-2 (HER2), leading to complementary inhibition of HER2 signaling pathways. Paclitaxel is a taxane-class chemotherapeutic agent that disrupts microtubule function, inhibiting cell division.
