Ervogastat is being studied for its effects on metabolic disorders such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, while danuglipron targets glycemic control and weight loss through GLP‑1R agonism. Danuglipron development was discontinued by Pfizer in April 2025 after review of clinical data[7].
