Overview

PF-07263689 + sasanlimab is an investigational combination therapy for solid tumors. PF-07263689 is an oncolytic virus engineered to induce tumor cell lysis and release tumor antigens, stimulating an anti-tumor immune response. Sasanlimab is a human monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as a checkpoint inhibitor to further enhance immune-mediated tumor destruction. Both agents were developed by Pfizer and evaluated in combination in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors following exhaustion of standard of care therapies. The combination was tested in a Phase 1, open-label, multicenter clinical study designed to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacodynamics, and anti-tumor activity. The trial was terminated for business reasons not related to safety concerns.
