Overview

PF-08634404 is an investigational interleukin-15 (IL-15) receptor agonist developed by Pfizer for the treatment of advanced malignancies, including renal cell carcinoma (RCC). It is designed as an IL-15/IL-15Rα fusion protein, which mimics the trans-presentation of IL-15 to its receptor complex on immune cells. By activating the IL-15 signaling pathway, the drug promotes the proliferation and activation of CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, enhancing the body's anti-tumor immune response. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1b/2 clinical trials as both a monotherapy and in combination with other anticancer agents for patients with locally advanced or metastatic RCC.
