Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PG4 + PA-002 is an experimental vaccine combination developed by Pfizer for the prevention of Streptococcus pneumoniae infections. It consists of PG4, a multivalent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, and PA-002, which serves as an adjuvant or specialized formulation component. The vaccine is designed to provide broad protection against pneumococcal disease by inducing an immune response against multiple bacterial serotypes. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to determine the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of different dosage levels of PA-002 when combined with the PG4 vaccine in healthy adults.
