Overview

PGDM1400 + PGT121 + VRC07-523LS is a combination of three broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (bNAbs) targeting HIV-1. Each antibody binds to distinct epitopes on the HIV envelope glycoprotein (Env), providing broad and potent neutralization against diverse strains of HIV. - **PGDM1400** targets the V2 apex region of the Env protein. - **PGT121** targets the V3 glycan patch on Env. - **VRC07-523LS** is an engineered variant of VRC01 that targets the CD4 binding site on Env and has been modified for increased half-life and potency[1][2][5]. These bNAbs block viral entry into host cells by preventing attachment or fusion, and may also mediate immune effector functions such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. The combination is being investigated primarily for treatment and prevention of HIV infection, including maintenance of viral suppression without daily antiretroviral therapy[1][8].
