Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PGT121 + VRC07-523LS is a combination of two broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (bNAbs) targeting different epitopes on the HIV-1 envelope protein. VRC07-523LS targets the CD4 binding site and was engineered for increased neutralization breadth and half-life (approximately 29-45 days). PGT121 targets the V3 glycan region and has a half-life of approximately 20 days. This combination provides complementary coverage against diverse HIV strains and is being developed for both HIV prevention and treatment strategies.
